I enjoy your WHFP reports for sure, I would have loved to see your take on Call of Cthulhu as I’m looking to try it out myself, but already I can see that it’s something where mood is even more important than other systems, so it’s hard to get a good time for it.
Campy horror sounds great, I’m not familiar with Crpytworld but I’m always down to learn about new horror games and of course, and 5 leagues would be very exciting. I’ve only played 5 Parseecs, but I have given the fantasy version a side eye for a while haha. Looking forward to seeing what comes next for you
Thank you for the well thought out reply. CoC is amazing and one of my favorite games but just seems to take a lot of work to prep, more so than others. It doesn’t matter if I’m solo or running for a group. Five parsecs is great but I don’t have generic sci fi minis and the terrain is easier to source for fantasy lol.
Hey, I love painting minis and terrain! I won’t let an unpainted mini on my table either! I’ll use paper or tokens first! I LOVE Five Parsecs but have not played Borderlands because I have so many fantasy games to play. I also have Forgotten Ruins by the same guys which I love too and fulfills my fantasy/sci-fi need. You are the first person I know who’s played Space Aces! Another very cool game!!
Space aces is so fun! I’ll at least have to do a review or something in the future. Five parsecs is great but I just don’t have enough varied sci fi terrain beyond my Warhammer stuff, and with fantasy I can forgive my lack of diverse terrain selection which makes it easier to get to the table.

Please do WFRP 1e! It was my first "shock therapy" to try a game different from D&D. I was a kid and GMing a 1-year campaign with my friends, discovering (and making up) the Old World was a blast.
